Park etiquettes
Walking trips for school, colleges and other groups are organized by Yamuna and Aravalli Biodiversity parks on their pre defined nature trails to impart nature education. These walking tours are free so you can pick one for an educational day out!
What to wear/bring
We recommend full length dull coloured clothing with no body perfumes or scents. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Shoes are must for every visitor as creeping creatures are found all around. To stay cool and hydrated, bring along drinking water, sunglasses, shades, or a hat.
When planning your visit, please note:
- Water bottles are must for every individual. Picnicking is not allowed.
- Sitting on the lawn is only allowed for relaxing, having small packaged lunch
- No athletic or recreational equipment is allowed.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Hunting and feeding animals is strictly prohibited.
- Strollers are allowed only in visitors zone
- Smoking and consuming alcohol are strictly prohibited in the park.
- Walk carefully on an uneven terrain of the park.
- Do not throw garbage and polythene bags.
- Keep your eyes and ears wide open
- Avoid talking loudly
- Leave the forest as you found it. Do not break branches, pluck wild flowers, climb the trees or collect wildlife souvenirs.
